About PG.
(pg. photography) Kampala, Uganda, December 2011
Paige Ricks is a freelance journalist and photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In May 2011, Paige graduated from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism with a focus in magazine writing and photography. She has covered a variety of stories, from photographing inmates inside San Quentin State Prison to interviewing women who brew beer in Kampala, Uganda.
She enjoys writing about and photographing cultural and social issues. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Fine Art in photography at the Academy of Art University.
Paige has always had a great fervor for fashion and recently had a recurring fashion blog on the San Francisco Bay Guardian Website, ‘Style Paige,’ where she profiled Bay Area fashion designers, new clothing stores and boutiques, and photographed street fashion. Her work has been published on Oakland North, California Alumni Magazine, San Francisco Bay Guardian, and Minted Magazine.
With a passion for writing about and publicizing fashion, gave birth to PG., a collection of her personal street photography, as well as styled photo shoots, luxury items she finds at thrift stores, and current fashion trends that give inspiration to how she dresses everyday. Simply put, this is a blog of findings that inspire her.
Welcome.
